On this page, with the help of my McCulloch Comparison Chart, we take a closer look at the differences and similarities between the:
When taking a closer look at these three machines you will notice that the main differences are in the size of the water tanks and the length of the continuous steaming time. The Mc1275 having the smallest tank at 48 oz, followed by the MC1375 with the same sized tank (but with variable steam control) and the MC1285 with the huge 64 oz tank.
The MC1375 and MC1385 have variable steam control as well as a handy steam pressure gauge that the MC1275 don't have.
In my opinion the MC1275 is the best value for money if you need a good all purpose steam cleaner for your home. 45 minutes of continuous steam will be more than enough to clean an average house.
The Mc1375 will give you longer (90 minutes) cleaning time and more accessories to work with, a longer power cord, variable steam control and a steam pressure gauge.
The MC1385 will give you a whopping 2 hours of continuous cleaning time and even more accessories to clean with and also has variable steam control and a handy steam pressure gauge. It is an upright making it easy to move around and will be perfect for those of you who have bigger homes that need longer cleaning times on a single tank.
